Nanny Qualifications

Experienced Nanny

 

Candidate Requirements

We hold our candidates to the highest standards to ensure exceptional care and peace of mind for your family. Every nanny in our network must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
     
  • At Least 3 Years of Childcare Experience, including:
     
    • A minimum of 2 years in a licensed daycare, public, or private school setting (as a teacher or assistant).
       
  • Minimum of 45 Staff Credential Hours
    or
    Completion of child development coursework from an accredited community college or university.
     

We carefully review each candidate’s credentials, experience, and references to ensure they meet the unique needs of our families and uphold the high standards of Jenn Johnson Nanny Elite Agency.

References/ Certifications

At least three verifiable references with excellent feed back. A current driver license with excellent driving record. In addition to valid U.S. work authorization.

At Jenn Johnson Nanny Elite Agency, we expect our candidates to uphold the highest level of professionalism throughout their employment—both in-person and online. All nannies placed through our agency must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Professional Online Presence: Candidates are expected to maintain a respectful, positive, and professional online image across all social media platforms during their employment.
     
  • Minimum One-Year Commitment: We require at least a one-year commitment to the family, ensuring consistency and stability for both the children and the household.
     
  • Clear Agreement on Responsibilities: All primary responsibilities, duties, and daily tasks must be mutually agreed upon by the family and nanny prior to the start of employment to ensure a smooth, successful placement.
     

Our goal is to foster respectful, lasting partnerships between families and nannies—built on trust, transparency, and professionalism.

First Aid and CPR Certified

Current CPR and First Aide Training before being placed in candidate selection pool

Employment and Online Presence

All candidates need to be fully comfortable being legally paid as an employee(w2)
